Missie en visie

Imagination is the key to painting. The light is your friend. Preserve it. They say everything looks better with odd numbers of things. But sometimes I put even numbers—just to upset the critics. With something so strong, a little bit can go a long way. It's a good way of getting rid of all your anxieties and hostilities. From all of us here, I want to wish you happy painting and God bless, my friends.

Let's go up in here, and start having some fun This is an example of what you can do with just a few things, a little imagination and a happy dream in your heart. You want your tree to have some character. Make it special.

Put it in, leave it alone. You can spend all day playing with mountains. Follow the lay of the land. It's most important. It looks so good, I might as well not stop. Let's put some happy little clouds in our world.

These little son of a guns hide in your brush and you just have to push them out. Tree trunks grow however makes them happy. This is your world.

We don't need any guidelines or formats. All we need to do is just let it flow right out of us. In your world you have total and absolute power. I'm sort of a softy, I couldn't shoot Bambi except with a camera.

With practice comes confidence. You need the dark in order to show the light. Automatically, all of these beautiful, beautiful things will happen. Use absolutely no pressure. Just like an angel's wing. Just let your mind wander and enjoy. This should make you happy. Be careful. You can always add more - but you can't take it away.

You can create anything that makes you happy. We're not trying to teach you a thing to copy. We're just here to teach you a technique, then let you loose into the world. Happy painting, God bless.
